…not just long term missions.
The Lord is always speaking to me. Sometimes I hear him in moments when I don’t have a pen & paper in front of me, but I have my phone. So here are some everyday notes from my phone what the Lord has been sharing and teaching me in my season serving and working in Nicaragua.
As hard as it is, I’m thankful to have the opportunity to serve here.
To get to know God better, get to know myself better, and life a life of the great commission.
To live a life to develop more confidence.
If I thought I was lacking in confidence before, this experience is like confidence boot camp (2nd language, new culture, different personalities, constant transitions).
It’s so simple
I just want to love others like Jesus
And love Jesus first and my love others flow from my love from Him
The way my soccer players greet me when they get on the bus warms my heart bc I can tell they feel a little bit better when I’m there. It’s like they can relax a little and say, “breathe, ok, Lynsey’s here today.”
My life is Jesus.
My life is Jesus’.
I am in His hands.
I want to think like Him.
I want to talk like Him.
I want to act like Him.
I want to walk like Him.
I am so in love with Jesus.
He is my Rabbi.
I am His apprentice, disciple, follower. Of the 21st century.
I am His and He is mine. (Verse: “My beloved is mine, and I am his; he grazes among the lilies.”
Song of Solomon 2:16 ESV)
“Transformed in His image” – “And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”

Be rooted in Jesus
To whether all storms of life.
God wants you to be FREE from hurt.
Talk like Jesus not like people of the world.
Edify things.
Be rooted and grounded and planted in a healthy, spiritual environment. {where God has you} being in the right place at the right time, matters!
Jesus is my source.
My only source.
Don’t resist the pruning.
Be open
Let the Holy Spirit transform you into a new creation
Open handed, palms up to the sky.
Rest & receive His goodness & wonders of His workings.
I will continue to seek transformation until I reflect more and more like Christ.
