So, who is the poor in spirit?  Well, all of us who don't know our identities in God.  Poor of Spirit is equivalent to our need of God in our life.

provide places of belonging, identity and security in the Lord

and call up into their greater purpose for their lives.

The greatest purpose in and for Jesus.

"Even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

Matthew 20:28
